Access

Main UI -> Accounts -> Purchases

This interface provides access to all of your day to day Purchase Ledger functionality.

You can ...

Create new purchase ledger documents
Edit an existing purchase ledger document
Pay a bill
Assign a purchase credit to a purchase invoice
Review what you owe to your suppliers
Review your trading profile by supplier

Additionally, you can ...

Link a purchase document to a sales invoice, so you can see at a glance if you have billed an expense on
- Your BMS will display a [X] in the Billed column if you have lined a purchase document to a sales invoice or sales invoice line
Link a file on your network with a purchase ledger document
- This may be necessary if you want to maintain a connection between you physical Purchase Invoices / Credits (saved on your network) and your BMS records.
Commit digitized incoming documents to your database; linked to a specific purchase document or supplier.
- This option takes up more disk space

Top Tip:

To help with monthly bills, you can select an old bill and duplicate it by clicking Manager Menu -> Repeat
